Mikael Jansson, CEO and founder of Fairlink, is one of the trade fair industry’s most influential figures. With over 40 years’ experience, he has made his mark as an adviser to both trade fair organisers and exhibitors. He represents Sweden in the global organisation UFI, is a highly regarded speaker and the author of the industry classic *Mässguru*. For his long-standing commitment, he has received several awards, including ‘Passionate Figure of the Year’ at the Gyllene Hjulet awards.

Malung Dance Band Week has been nominated for Event of the Year 2024!

Dansband Week in Malung – 40 years of tradition and joy
Dansbandsveckan in Malung is a much-loved tradition and one of Sweden’s biggest folk festivals, with deep roots in the heart of Swedish culture. The event, which is run on a voluntary basis and attracts over 80 bands and 50,000 visitors each year, is the world’s largest of its kind and continues to enchant dance enthusiasts year after year. We spoke to the founder and chairman, Bertil Elfström, and Åsa Hedlöf, who has been part of the venture for 25 years, about what makes Dansbandsveckan so unique and how they see the future.
